Alrighty, alrighty. School’s done, I’ve had a week to rest, and now I can finally play WoW and write an entry here! Yay!

In my hiatus, I did some thinking about this blog. I honestly didn’t want to write any more “As Kahlah I went and did this” posts again. There are a lot of blogs out there, and there are a lot of blogs about World Of Warcraft. And of those blogs about WoW, there are a lot about playing Hunters. Unfortunately, with every new Hunter blog that pops up, there are ten old ones that are better and have covered the same topics already. I’m not trying to insult the other Hunter bloggers out there, but really — the market is SATURATED with Hunter blogs, especially Hunter blogs about how to play Hunters. There’s got to be something else to write about.

As far as the game is concerned, I am a BAD WoW player. I don’t play all the time. I don’t raid, so I can’t give enlightening tips about how to raid effectively. I don’t fight with any particular panache, so I can’t write about methodology. I am a girl that games, but I don’t call myself a gamer. My technique to playing the game is so elementary it would make bloggers like BRK cringe — I just stand there, let the pet tank and shoot. Sometimes I shoot Viper Sting, and other times I use Scorpid Sting. It really doesn’t matter to me. My theory of any game playing remains pretty gestalt: if I kill it before it kills me, then things are good. If not, I’ll have to res and try again. I’m not particular about any sort of science that goes into a game. I really just want to get the damn beastie dead so I can get my loot and finish the quest.

And then it came to me…why not change the focus of my half of the blog to role-playing?

A swell idea! From now on, I will be delving into the risky subject of role-playing (that is, in the game #^_^#). I’ll be talking about different role-playing areas, role-playing ideas, and role-playing techniques. Hell, I might even cover LARP-ing too. I think it’s a good way to use this college degree in English that I’m getting…

I’ll miss your stories but the role-playing thing does sound interesting. Looking forward to seeing what you post next!

    Thanks Faeldray!
Don’t worry, I’ll still post stories. They’ll be more of role-playing nature, but they’ll still be here!
