Hurray! Kahlah made it to 40 and now has a lovely Emerald Raptor mount! Here she is with the mount in question:

Kahlah\'s ready to ride.

Never having a Troll toon before, I have to get used to the ride. If I stare too long at Kahlah while she’s on the mount, the bouncing will make me nauseous. I like having it, I just need to balance my equilibrium. =P

I bought a few pieces of mail armor, and two new weapons. I have an [Ebon Scrimtar] and a [Furious Falchion] — unusual for me since my Hunters tend to stick to axes. I’m disappointed with the aesthetics of swords. Most of them either look too plain or look too bizarre. Scrimtars have a nice look and this Falchion wasn’t too bad either.

As for my new armor: a pair of [Steadfast Shoulderpads] aught to do me well for the time being along with a pair of bracers I received from a quest in Grom’gol. I should have bought mail armor earlier when I had OODLES AND OODLES OF MONEY, but I got a bit greedy and kept most of it. After mount riding, mount buying, training, pet training, and other shopping needs, I have about 18g left. =/ Yeah, I’m disappointed, but I hope to make it up. I’ve always made money easy with Kahlah, even being un-Talented as I am.

While I’, on the subject, did I ever mention how much I HATE Stranglethorn Vale? It’s a bit different now I’m playing from the Horde’s pee-oh-vee, but I still can’t shake that horrible feeling of deja vu. I still hate running up and down that road between Booty Bay and Grom’gol. I hate fighting with other players over the handful of Elder Stranglethorn Tigers. Most of all, I hate those damned jungle Trolls who seem to hang around like Visa — everywhere you want to be. Eventually, I’m going to have to kill the Bloodscale Pirates…who I hate too. The frustrating thing about STV is that there’s hardly a way around it. If you’re between the levels of 35 and 45, you’re going to go there. Sigh.

And now, it’s time to put Kahlah away for awhile while I work on some others characters, namely Iriannis.
